The following is an update regarding the upcoming 2019 CASID Conference ‘Inclusive development? Expanding circles of development research and practice’ at the University of British Colombia, June 5th - 7th, 2019.
Please be advised that early bird registration rates end March 31st.
1. Preliminary Program
Please find a preliminary program attached. The program will be updated regularly with new information as the conference approaches. If you note any oversights or problems, including scheduling conflicts, or if you are presenting and are unable to attend please let us know directly by emailing amurr061@uottawa.ca, and we’ll do our best to accommodate additions/changes. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate any additions (room availability is always a problem at Congress), or further changes in the program (in terms of moving panels around) as this is a delicate balancing act. Thank you for your understanding.
2. Congress 2019 Information and Planning your Stay
- Registration is now open!
- Register before March 31 to save on registration fees.
- Registration requires paying Congress fees + CASID conference fees.
- Additional costs: any other Associations you may be attending + banquet on June 6th.
- Book Travel and Accommodations early. Discounts are available.
- See the Congress Program for additional events and programming (Big Thinkers etc).
3. Travel Bursaries
Travel bursaries have now been awarded. Thank you to all those who applied.
4. Student Paper Prizes – Call for Submissions
There are two student paper prizes awarded each year. Please see the links below for more details.
5. CASID Banquet
The CASID Banquet will be held in the evening of Day 2 of the conference at Local Public Eatery, Kitsilano (2210 Cornwall Ave) and is open to everyone (individual billing, some light snacks provided). Please RSVP here.
