CASID offers individual memberships to anybody working in or studying international development across the world.

As a individual member of CASID you will be able to:

Attend our annual conference (as part of the Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities) to discuss and debate international development issues.

Receive free access to our Canadian Journal of Development Studies, the only Canadian journal devoted exclusively to the study of international development.

As guest editor, I found the editorial process of the Journal to be agile and rigorous, with reviewers’ comments greatly contributing to the quality of the articles published in our special issue. CASID played key roles in supporting the ‘Public Policy Advocacy’ Summer School course which Dr. Rebecca Tiessen and I taught in Spring 2018 as well as the IDRC-funded ‘Career Paths of IDS Graduates’ research project (see the link on the CASID site).
