CASID offers individual memberships to anybody working in or studying international development across the world.

Benefits

As a individual member of CASID you will be able to:

  • Attend our annual conference (as part of the Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities) to discuss and debate international development issues.
  • Network with students, academics, researchers and policymakers involved in international development, through our in-person and online events featuring distinguished development specialists.
  • Join the conversation around Canada’s international development sector including upcoming events, opportunities, academic job postings, and more, through our e-mail listserv.
  • For students: be eligible for a limited number of paper awards, travel grants, and funding opportunities to host regional events.
  • Receive free access to our Canadian Journal of Development Studies, the only Canadian journal devoted exclusively to the study of international development.
