Annual Conference

The CASID Annual Conference occurs in conjunction with the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences every summer. The conference is typically 2-3 days long and includes presentations from CASID members, several keynote events, CASID’s AGM and banquet, awarding of paper prizes, and much more.

The 2020 Kari Polanyi-Levitt Prize

The Kari Polanyi-Levitt Prize is CASID’s annual Graduate Student Essay Contest. The Kari Polanyi-Levitt Prize is awarded annually to the best original essay by a graduate student in the area of international development studies.
