Student Contributors
Contributors (authors) are those whose pieces have been selected for publication by Ignio. Contributors are responsible for incorporating editorial feedback and providing a completed piece within the allotted time. We accept submissions on a rolling basis and for instructions on submitting your work please see our Submissions page.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board is responsible for selecting, then reviewing and editing pieces submitted for Ignio’s publication. Applications for the Editorial Board are open in the fall of every year. Editorial Board members will meet with the Student Steering Committee, receive training on academic editing, and select pieces from publication based on submissions received up until that point. Editorial Board members have the unique role of championing the platform and encouraging submissions to the platform through their networks.
Student Steering Committee
The Student Steering Committee is composed of 5-7 members every year. This group spearheads the initiative, manages its growth, liaises with external stakeholders, and identifies opportunities for Contributors and Editors. Student Steering Committee members have renewable 1-year terms and are expected to dedicate approximately 3 hours per week to the initiative.
Student Steering Committee recruitment opens in April/May of every year. Terms for Steering Committee members are from May 1st to April 15th.
